June 12th-13th
June 12th i had the opportunity to visit my family in Idaho Falls. It had been a long time since i had seen them. I know what you are all saying, "so close you never made the time to visit Cristal?" But it seems life is busy these days and family gets pushed to the back burner and yes, it is sad i don't make the time. But we got to have lunch with my dad, my sister, and brother and then walk around the green belt in IF, a favorite haunt of mine growing up. So just as i did as a kid, we had to go peer over the waterfalls and chase the geese who find sanctuary there.
Next, we went and picked up my niece and nephew from my sister Wendy to have dinner with my mom and her husband. It was great to see my nephew, Freedom, play with my monkeys cause i have lots of fond memories of horsing around with my older, and funner, cousins growing up. So i love seeing how great they get along. This is the front of the house where i grew up. We moved in it August 1974 and i was born that fallowing November. House hasn't change. Just quieter since my parents are Empty Nester now. All 8 of us have flown the coop.
And Here i am sitting with my mom who all my life ,
i have heard how much i look like her. what do you think?

Finally, Sat. 13th we had the wonderful opportunity to give my in-laws a retirement party. After 75 years, the furniture store they had owned had shut their doors. But, my in-laws were not sad, but actuatly glad because it has given them more time to visit their grandchildren. And we love spending the extra time now with them =)

You DO look a ton like your mom! I'm glad you had a good visit aaaaaaaaall the way down in Idaho Falls. :-)
